Frozen Beauty in Extreme canvas print by Jeremy Hall. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). The winter of 2013/2014 was extreme. The worst for me in my 27 years in Canada. This day it was early dawn and bitterly cold. It felt like the cold burned. Around minus 40 Fahrenheit or Celsius; one of the few times they read the same. I could only stand outside for 30 minutes and my gloved hands froze. The ice-encased rocks, the blue of the shattered ice piled on the shore, the seemingly black water and red sky over Wolfe Island; and the dark and sombre cloud cover overhead provided a unique panorama.
