"The winter of 2013/2014 was extreme. The worst for me in my 27 years in Canada. This picture was taken in freezing conditions with the wind swept snow on the frozen lake showing as a horizontal fan-pattern, the black of the lake-ice surface set against the blue hue of the crushed and piled shore ice. The colours as seen: including the orange horizon - not edited. This image conveys what my eye saw - and my mind felt. Frigid Ice Harmony."
